Natalie Tustison will be joining the PWYSA coaching staff this upcoming spring and summer as a student coach of the 12U Gold team. Currently, Nat is a freshman at the University of Minnesota studying biomedical engineering.

Natalie was born in California, but she grew up in Plymouth, attended WHS as a 2020 graduate, and played travel softball with PWYSA since she was in 3rd grade. Nat also played catcher and outfield for the Wayzata high school team.

Natalie is excited to coach a team this summer because she's always eager to teach players the fundamentals and skills that she learned as a youth softball athlete.

Outside of softball, Nat loves to play the drum set, run, bike, hangout with her younger sister, and watch Grey’s Anatomy.

Avery Lash will also be joining the PWYSA this summer as a 12U Gold student coach. Currently, Avery is a freshman at the U of M studying marketing with a minor in entrepreneurial management, at the Carlson School of Management.

Avery grew up in Plymouth and attended WHS (2020 grad) and played travel softball with PWYSA and with the PWYSA Bandits.

Avery is excited to get into coaching because she wants to give back to her softball community and inspire young athletes, while also developing fundamentals and fostering a fun atmosphere.

Beyond softball, Avery loves spending quality time with friends and family, exploring new coffee shops in Minneapolis and networking with new individuals.
