Fall Travel season follows the Summer season and runs from August to September. This is an opportunity for travel players to continue to play and develop. This is also a great chance for recreation player to try and experience competitive travel fastpitch softball. Players will move to the age level that they will play during the next summer (ie. an 8U Summer player could move up to 10U Fall based on her birthday).
FALL ONLY TEAMS: we offer Fall Only teams for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U & High School ages. For these teams, we require tryouts for the 10 & 12U teams so we can form teams based on skill sets (see details below). We will divide up 8U, 14U, & High School players based on age and the number of players we have to form teams. The Fall Only 14U & High School teams tend to be recreation players looking to play additional softball in the Fall.
YEAR ROUND 14U & HIGH SCHOOL (16U & 18U) TEAMS: Following on a successful year of having 2 14U teams and 1 HS team, we will again form full year (Fall thru Summer) teams at the 14U & High School. Visit the "Travel 14U-18U" tab for more information.
League Levels & Details (Fall 2024-Summer 2025)

Players interested in playing at our 10U & 12U Fall only MUST participate tryouts. We will leverage tryout results along with Summer Coaches Player Evaluations to form like skilled teams to maximize the Fall season player experience for these ages.
8U, 14U & High School Fall Only teams will NOT need to participate in tryouts. Players will be divided into as many teams as we can form based on the number of registrants. In the event we do not have enough players to field a team, we will not have a Fall season for that age group.
Player evaluations will take place on the following date(s) depending on age group:
10 & 12U (Fall Only): July 17 or 23 (may adjust times based on # of players)
In order to most effectively place players on the appropriate traveling softball team, it is necessary that all players take part in the respective traveling softball tryouts, receive an evaluation by the evaluators, and be considered for a traveling team based on their tryout score.
However, we understand that circumstances will arise that will prevent a player from participating in the tryout (example: injury or illness). These circumstances need to be approved by the PWYSA Traveling Softball Selection Committee to be an "excused player". An "excused player" may be eligible and placed on a traveling softball team even though they were unable to participate in the respective tryouts.
In such situations, the following procedures will be followed by the PWYSA Traveling Softball Selection Committee in an effort to place players appropriately within the PWYSA softball programs (traveling or rec league):
Congratulations to all of our players on their hard work leading up to and at tryouts. Below are their team assignments for the Fall 2024 travel season. Teams are listed up to left as top teams, then to right in rank order.
I'm finalizing coaches, so each team's coach will reach out in the upcoming few days.
Practices will begin the week of August 12th.
