DIBS Volunteer Updates

Travel League:
Travel League DIBS volunteer sessions are posted and ready to claim.

  1. You MUST login with the user name you registered with.
  2. Edit the date range to include May 14th & 15th.

Recreational League:
Rec League DIBS volunteer sessions will be posted the week of May 1st.

Tournament Volunteer Registration

We are now utlizing the new DIBS system to run our volunteer opportunities. To get started, please do the following:

STEP 1:  CLICK HERE if you do not have an account with the PWYSA website (this is the same account you used for registration). 

STEP 2:  CLICK HERE to begin selecting opportunities that PWYSA has available for you to sign up for!

Tournament Volunteer Requirements

Each PWYSA travel family is required to fulfill a 2-4 hour volunteer commitment at the Wayzata Warmup Tournament. If you are a coach, you can claim that as your volunteer commitment.

Volunteer sign-up deadline is Friday, May 7th.

Please read the descriptions of the duties and follow the instructions below to begin.

Tournament Setup

Help setup fields, dugouts and concession area.

Concessions

Work concession stand selling food & beverages. Backup for grilling.

Grilling

Prepare & serve grilled food.

Registration

Check-in and register teams as they arrive.

Fields & Trash

Rake playfields in-between games. Empty trash containers. Check restrooms for paper towels & general cleanliness.

Teardown

Help tear down, pack up and load vehicles.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

We are in need of several people to help with the 2010 season. Current positions available include:

UMPIRE COORDINATOR
Coordinates the umping schedule for the recreational league. Also oversees training and handles all issues related to recreational league umpires.

PICTURE COORDINATOR
Coordinates team pictures for the travel and recreational league. Works with the vendor to insure materials are out and teamss are scheduled.

FUND RAISING COORDINATOR
Coordinates and organizes fund raising events for PWYSA.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Schedules volunteers for the Wayzata Tournament in May.

FIELD COORDINATOR
Coordinates schedules and improvement strategies.

REC LEAGUE VOLUNTEERS
Needed ro a variety of duties involving the recreational league.
