PWYSA Board Meetings

Board Meetings

The PYWSA holds approximately twelve board meetings per year. Meetings are held at public venues, such as Lunds in Plymouth. Meetings are open to the membership and public to join, listen, and participate. Special meetings may also be held if deemed necessary.

Non-board members are invited to request formal discussion time around a topic by sending a written communication to either the Secretary or President, or to a Director that functions as the lead around a topic (umpires, recreation league, etc).

Here is the process for requesting formal agenda time at an upcoming Board Meeting:

  1. Submit a request to a Board member in writing regarding the topic, a short summary, and the objective.
  2. Based on upcoming agenda time priorities and supplied information, the topic can be approved.
  3. If the supplied information from the request is not complete, the requesting guest is asked more questions, or may be directed to a Board member who can effectively help with the question or topic.
The PWYSA embraces participation from our membership as a part of our culture of continuous improvement.   Our team also recommends direct communication with our respective leadership who function as the leaders in their specific roles.
