Hitting Clinic
Description
If you are interested in learning to become a better fastpitch hitter, the PWYSA Winter Hitting Clinic is the place for you. We believe that fastpitch players are made during the offseason; so if you are interested in improving your game, keeping your skills crisp, check out the batting clinic.
These clinics are geared for all levels – from the Beginning player to the Varsity athlete. These clinics are well worth the time; even athletes who play winter sports sign up and come when they can.
Instructors
We are very excited to announce that we have arranged for Missy Laatch, Jessica Merchant and Mike Carter to lead the PWYSA Hitting Clinics. Missy is a former MSU Colege player and has coached at all levels for 15+ years, Jessica is a former college and professional player and is on the U of M staff. Guest instructors will include Amber Hegland (a former Gopher Great and current Wayzata High School head coach) and Kaja Martinson. Kaja is a former star from St. Thomas.
Details
Girls will be expected to bring and wear a batting helmet ?while on the hitting deck. Girls taking the Pitching clinic at the same time can alternate between the Hitting and Pitching clinic as time and resources allow.

November 29th, 2011 through February 21st, 2012 (excluding Christmas Day)
Times:
Grades 1-5: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Grades 6-8: 8:15 pm – 9:15 pm
Grades 9-12: 9:00 pm – 10:00 pm
