Skills Clinic

Description

If you are interested in learning to become a better fastpitch player, the PWYSA Winter Skills Clinic is the place for you. We believe that fastpitch players are made during the offseason; so if you are interested in improving your game, keeping your skills crisp, and developing new skills, check out the skills clinic.

These clinics are geared for all levels – from the Beginning player to the Varsity athlete. All skills will be covered with emphasis on throwing, fielding, batting, conditioning, and game situations. These clinics are well worth the time; even athletes who play winter sports sign up and come when they can.

Instructors

Each year PWYSA provides outstanding skills clinics and the highest level instruction. The skills instructors focus on teaching and keeping the girls’ softball fundamentals sharp. This years instructors include Amber Hegland; current Wayzata Varsity coach, Kaja Martinson & Missy Laatsch; MN Vortex head coach.

All three are very successful former players from the U of M, MSU and St. Thomas and have coached all over the state of Minnesota and beyond. Look for special guest clinicians and well known players and coaches from our association, the Minnesota Vortex and the world of Fastpitch.
