Athletes in grades 2 & 3 (grade level as of the 2007/2008 school year) are in level 2. Teams are generally formed by elementary school and girls can sign up to be on the same team as a friend. level 2 in house league will play 2 nights. Athletes in this league use a pitching machine This division continues to emphasize the balance between skill development and fun - everyone plays equally and gets to try all the positions they want. Games and practices are held on the same nights throughout the season and there may be an additional skills development clinic during the season. The timing of Picture Day is usually known at the time of walk in registration and is generally scheduled for a Saturday morning. We have a tournament (with awards) at the end of the season with pairings drawn at random. This is also the age where the athletes can chose to participate in the "Fall Ball" 5 week developmental season - a good experience for athletes that want to play more or try a travel-like experience.
