Dear Plymouth-Wayzata Softball Community,

As the President of the Wayzata Fastpitch Association, I am honored to address our vibrant and enthusiastic softball community through our official website.

Softball to us has always been more than just a game. It's a way of life, a source of camaraderie, and a platform for personal growth. Over the years, our association has strived to foster these values, and I want to highlight some exciting developments and initiatives that will shape the future of softball in our community.

  1. Youth Development: At PWYSA, we are dedicated to nurturing the talents of our young athletes. We've continued to expand year over year, investing in player development with enhanced Winter training programming, and partnering with the city of Plymouth to ensure our facilities provide a quality training environment. Our commitment to youth development is not just about building great softball players, but also responsible, confident, and resilient individuals.

  2. Community Engagement: Softball is more than just a game; it's a community. We encourage you to get involved, whether you're a player, parent, or simply a fan. We are always in need of dedicated volunteers to support the growth of our association. Whether you can assist with coaching, volunteering at one of our hosted Tournaments, consider joining the Board, or simply spreading the word about PWYSA so our association continues to grow, together we can make a positive impact on our community.

  3. Inclusivity and Diversity: Softball is a sport for everyone. We are striving to be a diverse and inclusive organization, welcoming players of all ages from Kindergarten through High School, backgrounds, and abilities. Our goal is to create an environment where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to play, compete, and enjoy the game.

  4. Facility Upgrades: We are committed to improving our softball facilities by working with the City of Plymouth to provide the best possible experience for players and spectators to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

  5. Stay Informed: Our website and TeamSnap will be your primary source of information about games, events, and association news. We will also be using social media to keep you up to date. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay informed.

I want to express my deep gratitude to all of you for your support, dedication, and love for softball. It is your passion that drives us to make our association the best it can be. Together, we can create a brighter future for the Plymouth Wayzata softball community.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or ideas, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Your input is invaluable as we work towards achieving our collective goals.

Thank you for being a part of our softball family, and I look forward to seeing you at the ballpark, cheering for our teams, and making unforgettable memories on the field.
