The 16U-A Suburban League Standings
Plymouth Middle School 16U-A Game and Practice Field
The Wayzata 16U-A team coached by Laurie Raske will call the Plymouth Middle School Field 2 its home field this season. All games and most practices will be held at this field. the field is located on the South-East corner of the Plymouth Middle School grounds. Access to the field is best accomplished by entering the driveway located on 34th avenue, just west of Kimble Lane.

Hoepfully we can move quickly through the first couple of practices and learn each others playing style... to see what we have for talent now that we put everyone together, I know we don't have everyone and some of you have final exams and projects, so if you can't make a practice just let me know. I would like to get into focused warm ups as we move forward.... please plan to be on time and ready to get started with warm ups at 6:30... I usually stick to the time frame and end on time.
Always bring/wear the gear you plan to have in a game batting helmet, gloves, sliding gear....so we can practice whatever we need to.. sliding, runners on base, run downs etc.
Take inventory so you have an extra sweatshirt, socks, sunglasses, snacks, and extra $5 or so etc. I hate to see players unprepared, so take the time to check your bag and get it set.
Details for the extra July tournament again is below. Go to the 2010 Nationals link and then the Moundsview llink. We should make a decision in the next week or so.
Cost per player would be around $35 - 40.

Remember you will be moving back 3 feet in your delivery, start planning for that in your throwing routines... this will be a change to how your ball moves in the strike zone...

If the players can decide what colors they want to go with their uniform, I think we should get these ordered right away... if there is a parent who would step up to do so, wonderful... we should try and get these ordered today or tomorrow.
OH.....I was thinking that it would be nice to have a facebook group with photos of games etc..... would anyone like to create a group out there and manage it??
I think we can make it closed so only our team would be out there... just a thought.

Tournaments
Hello..... what a great day for a Twins Game! I hope you all had a chance to experience this historical game in some way!
This is to let you know that I have scheduled our summer tournaments, they are listed below, all are National Qualifiers.
Jun 11-13: Bloomington Dred Scott Fields - we are guaranteed 5 games and will also get 1-2 free rounds per player in their Clutch Hitter batting cages
Dugouts are covered, fields are lighted, playground for siblings, water available at each field. No gate/parking fee for spectators.
Jun 18-20: Rosemount Erickson park: "Mn. Irish College Showcase" - we are guaranteed 4 games, multiple field sites used. On Friday from 9am - 4pm players can pay an extra fee to participate in a clinic run by college coaches. We will get more details on this. No gate/parking fee for spectators.
Jun 25-27: White Bear Lake Otter Lake Fields: "MN Vets College Classic" - we are guaranteed 5 games, multiple field sites used. Dugouts are covered.

July 22-25: Moundsview Rice Creek Fields (assumed): We should decide on this one as a team. It was announced at the Suburban League Meeting and is not posted on Fastsports, it will be coordinated by Sean Hall. They will allow local teams to sign up first, and then they will go ahead and invite teams from other areas to participate so that we get some out-of-town games... I hope this might appeal to you all and we can talk about this at our team meeting.....
TEAM MEETING: May 15th at Wayzata Warm Up Tournament. More information to come, please mark your calendars.
