Fall Travel League

2011 Fall Travel League Information


It's is hard to believe, but its that time again for PWYSA Fall Travel League for 2011.

The Fall season begins early-mid August with practices and ends late September with the fall state tournament. The fall season focuses on introducing the sport to new players, and the development of all players.

League Games: (all double headers) are tentatively scheduled for:
August 21st, August 28th & September 11th

League Qualifier:
September 17th and/or September 18th

Fall State Tournament: 
September 24th-25th

We anticipate having a 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and maybe an 18U team if numbers permit.

Age Groups:
The age group the girls play in is based on their age at 12/31/2011.

  • 16U: born in 1995 and 1996
  • 14U: born in 1997 and 1998
  • 12U: born in 1999 and 2000
  • 10U: born in 2001 and 2002 or earlier

Team Formation:
10U:

  • Our intent will be to form two equals teams, by school, if numbers permit.
  • We will try to honor a players request to play with a friend.
  • Consideration will be given to pitchers, catchers, and parent coaches.

12U, 14U, 16U, and18U:

  • The top 8 players (based on this past spring tryouts for the 12U & 14U 'A' team) will play together the Fall 2011 if numbers permit.
  • The remaining girls will be placed with consideration given to pitchers, catchers, and parent coaches availability. 

Once again, we've been able to keep our fees at an amazingly low $125. This includes the fabulous Fall Ball T-Shirt. We are also looking for coaches at all age groups.
